Matthew Edison

Matthew Edison is a Canadian actor born in 1975.

A great, great, great grand-nephew of Thomas Edison, he has appeared in the television series At The Hotel and A Nero Wolfe Mystery, and in various television movies.

A graduate of Canterbury High School in Ottawa and the Stella Adler Conservatory in New York City, Matthew was nominated for a Dora Award for directing The Qualities of Zero in Toronto at Tarragon Theatre Extra Space in 2001. The show also received a Dora Award nomination for outstanding production.

In 2003, Matthew penned his first play, titled The Domino Heart. It was produced by Tarragon Theatre and Jack in the Black Theatre in March, 2003 to much acclaim.
